DIFFICULT TO PREDICT OUTCOME
By Steve Littlewood
Sunday November 2nd, 2008 KO: 10:30am [League]
| Inter Wallington | 0 | - | 3 | Corinthian-Casuals 'A' |
The teams had never played each other before so with no history was difficult to predict the outcome. Casuals started very brightly and for long periods were almost solely in the Wallington half. Some fine saves from their keeper and a very packed defence kept Casuals from scoring. The main problem for both teams was to come from the official who was constantly stopping play for the most minor of incidents, which began to show in both sets of players.
Goals from Barry Jared and Tony secured victory for Casuals and a maximum point's collection from their first five fixtures. The game can be summed up by this statistic possession Casuals 40% Wallington 10% referee 50% and the final word from the Wallington coach "ref your ruining this game how the hell did you arrive at that decision" this was for a perfectly good goal disallowed scored by "CASUALS" sums it up really!
