Casuals crashed out of the F.A. Trophy following another disappointing performance. Casuals never got going and conceded the first goal on four minutes when Mickey Demetriou capitalised on some slack defending.
Worthing were clearly the better side and created all the chances in a dull first half. All Casuals could muster was an effort by Matt Smith which curled wide from and Eric Kwakye pull back.
The tie was effectively sealed two minutes after the break when Demetriou raced onto a long ball and had no difficulty in beating Colin Harris. Casuals offered little resistance, although the game did have a comedy moments when Worthing keeper Alan Mansfield decided to hit a goal kick straight off the pitch, level with his area for a Casuals throw in.
With 12 minutes left Joe Nwoko, who must have been auditioning for the British Olympic Diving team for 2012, won a penalty. This was despatched by Dan Jackson, but there was no come back forthcoming as with one minute remaining Enzo Benn walloped home a third goal for Worthing.
