Playing our jinx team (played them on four previous occasions and lost each time 1 - 0) Casuals were determined to start the League campaign with a positive performance and it started so well totally outplaying Lind in the first 20 minutes but again a fluke of a deflection allowed a Lind striker through to open the scoring.
However straight from the re-start Casuals equalised following a superb build-up and a fantastic finish from Andrew Davies. Casuals took control and the second followed shortly with, once again, lovely build-up play and a good finish by Barry Stevens. Just before half time Sam Marshall made it three.
Second half started brightly by Casuals but slowly Lind got themselves back into the game and following some poor defending scored their second. The game then became end-to-end stuff with Casuals trying to kill the game with a fourth goal and Lind going for the equaliser. Casuals did have two good chances to finish off the game but failed to take their opportunities.
Has to be said great to beat our jinx team and start the campaign with three points. Overall a very good game.
