With Tattenham taking maximum points from their opening 3 games this was going to be a challenging fixture for Casuals. From the off Casuals caught Tattenham on the back foot and the game was played almost entirely in the Tattenham half.15 minutes into the game Casuals won a corner from which a superb flighted ball was played in by Ben for Chris to pick his spot and power in a header to score what would be the winning goal.
Casuals continued to pressure and play very attacking football pushing for a second. A very late challenge ended Ben's game and Casuals went into the break as with a well-deserved lead.
The second half continued in the same vein but Casuals could not find the finishing touch but Casuals defence was solid restricting Tattenham long-range efforts. The game soon turned and some less than savoury tackles meant that both Simon and Andrew had to be replaced following injury. Minutes from the end Tattenham had a superb long-range effort brilliantly saved by reserve keeper Richard well deserved 3 points following an impressive performance.
