Hicks joined Casuals from Kingstonian and soon cemented his place in the starting XI. He took over from Jason Turley as captain at the start of the 2014/15 season where he famously led out the side which played Corinthians Paulista in front of 30,000 fans in Sao Paulo last year (pictured leading the teams out alongside Corinthian's Cassio). Hicks left Casuals in the summer for higher league football with Hampton and Richmond and became a regular in Alan Dowson’s promotion chasing side. From all at the club, we welcome Joe and his family back with open arms. In other transfer news, we wish Michael Salako all the best after joining Mark Hams at Walton and Hersham. ‘Cookie’ was only with us briefly for his second spell at the club but his 94th minute winner at Three Bridges could prove vital come the end of the season.
