Corinthian-Casuals Manager James Bracken has turned to Surrey Strength and Performance to ensure his players are given the best opportunity to face a promotion push in peak physical condition. SSP - a specialist training facility, based in Caterham, Surrey will host Casuals’ players engaging them in programs designed to maximise strength, mobility and prevent injury. Casuals season has been blighted by injuries to several key members of Bracken’s squad as the Tolworth-based side look to go one step further from the playoff final last year and gain promotion to the highest level achieved by the historic club. Manager James Bracken stated, “I’m delighted to have agreed a partnership with SSP, one of the leading strength and performance centres in the South East.” “Our injury list this season has been extensive to say the least and SSP will be working with players around our current training regime to ensure injury prevention as well as rehabilitation. Using science and the most up to date conditioning methods they’ll look to ensure players are in peak physical condition and available to us for the vital last quarter of the campaign. “My thanks goes to them in advance and I look forward to what I’m sure will be a fantastic working relationship moving forward.” Casuals spokesperson Stuart Tree added “James works to an incredibly-professional standard, the likes that haven’t been seen at our club before. Every extra percent that he can extract is vital as we push for an unprecedented promotion. “Therefore, it’s no surprise that he’s enlisted the help of Surrey Strength and Performance who, like James are incredibly dedicated, passionate and excel at what they do. I know for one, James wouldn’t settle for second best.” You can find Surrey Strength and Performance’s website here. www.surreystrengthandperformance.com Also, follow them on social media. Corinthian-Casuals FC and Kingstonian FC are delighted to announce their intention of securing a ground share agreement for King George’s Fields during the season for 2018-19.
Subject to approval from various governing bodies, this ground share will come into effect from 1st August 2018 bringing Kingstonian Football Club back into the borough, and creating a strong community orientated presence in the greater area. Corinthian-Casuals Executive Committee together with the Directors of Kingstonian are working toward planning a thriving long-term future for both clubs. With this in mind, talks regarding a partnership between both clubs and the consequent development of shared facilities whilst remaining independent are in an advanced stage, as we look to ensure both Corinthian-Casuals and Kingstonian flourish in a first-class environment at King George’s Fields within the Royal Borough of Kingston-Upon-Thames. Both clubs are extremely grateful to everyone involved for embracing this ground share with positivity and grace as we move forward together. |
