Saturday 28th March 3pm

After Thursday's 5-1 exit at the hands of a full strength Hendon side in the London Senior Cup Matt Howard will be looking to get his side back in focus of the league targets as we make the trip to Chipstead.

Our hosts come into the game on a run of 5 straight defeats which has dropped them down to 16th in the table 2 points below ourselves,

Casuals will be hoping for a repeat of a fine 3-1 win back in September.

Casuals v Burgess Hill Town

Tuesday 24th March 7.45pm
Ryman Division One South

The league leaders are in town as Burgess Hill make the trip to King Georges Arena this evening.

It seems a formality that the Hillians will wrap up a deserved championship over the next couple of weeks and they aim to take another step towards that this evening where a win would see them hit the 100 point mark.

Casuals without Jamie Byatt who sits out the final game of his suspension will have their work cut out trying to breach by far the meanest defence in all 3 of the Ryman Divisions.
They can take heart however from the reverse fixture back in August where the home side were clinging on a slender 2-1 scoreline come full time.

The match kicks off at 7.45pm and admission is £8 adults and £4 concessions

Live match updates will be provided via twitter @corinthiancas

Non-League Day partners with The Football Association to promote 2015 FA Trophy Final

The last five years have seen Non-League Day (NLD) grow from being an event on Facebook to an annual national campaign which has grabbed the attention of clubs, leagues, the media and most importantly the fans.

As NLD has grown we’ve received many requests to run a second event during the season to get even more people involved. Given the huge amount of time and effort and to preserve the uniqueness of NLD, we’ve never really been able to entertain this idea but have thought about other ways we could do things.

Our favourite alternative was to create an event where, rather than send football fans to a wide variety of grounds around the country, we would encourage them to head to just one ground, bringing as many members of the non-league community together in the same place at the same time. We just weren’t quite sure how to do this.

It then came to our attention that this year’s FA Trophy Final is taking place on Sunday 29th March during the spring international break. Being on the Sunday, it allows fans of virtually every team in the country - whether they follow a club in the Premier League, Football League or non-league - to take part.

We have therefore partnered with The Football Association in an initiative to try and mobilise fans in a different way and bring as many of us together at the country’s national stadium for one of the non-league game’s most prestigious finals. Tickets for the game are on sale now via the FA’s website with prices starting from as low as £10. For group bookings of 15 or more, there is a further discount of 50% on all price categories.

We hope you like this idea and will think about joining us in trying to turn Wembley into the centre of the non-league football world for one afternoon on Sunday 29th March.

James Doe
Founder, Non-League Day

After Saturdays draw at Tooting its back to King George's Arena this evening as we host Carshalton Athletic.

Our visitors are mid table a point above us  and at the weekend  comfortably dispatched Hastings United 3-0 at home.

Despite a good home record the have struggled on their travels with their last win away from Colston Avenue some 6 months ago.

Back in September a Joe Hicks header was enough to give Casuals a 1-0 win which put Matt Howard's men top of the table.

The match kicks off at 7.45pm and admission is £8 adults and £4 concessions

Corinthian-Casuals vs Herne Bay
Saturday 21st March 2015
Kickoff 3pm
Pay What You Want

Surrey FA have selected Corinthian-Casuals FC to host their annual Respect Day, so we've decided to make it a family day to raise the profile of the club, the Respect campaign & any local business's wishing to get involved.

Saturday 21st March is Corinthian-Casuals Ryman League Division One South fixture against playoff hopefuls Herne Bay. Entry for the day is 'Pay What You Want'... from 1p to however generous you feel.

We'll have loads of mascots & ballboys/girls from our youth section, local business's are encouraged to come along & promote themselves. There's lots happening (small sided youth games being played on the pitch prior to the 1st team game, penalty shoot out at half time, presentations, giveaways, live band in the clubhouse in the evening, food, various entertainment) Usual entry prices are £8, £4 concessions but people are encouraged to pay what they want on that day.

We're really looking forward to welcoming everyone, we have a great special running on tickets for the Conference promotional play offs - £10 adult, £5 children (under 16) which we will be selling on the day & up until 31st March, shortly after that date they'll go on general sale for considerably more than that so hopefully our guests will take advantage of the offer for a great day out at Wembley in May.

The Football Conference sponsors Vanarama are offering supporters of Corinthian-Casuals the opportunity of watching this season’s Conference Promotion Final at Wembley for just £10 (adults) and £5 (under-16s).

The game is at Wembley on Sunday 17 May with a 2pm kick-off. It is part of the newly named “Vanarama BIG Day Out” and they are promising an electric party atmosphere at a highly affordable price.

To be part of the “Vanarama BIG Day Out” you will need to buy a voucher from Corinthian-Casuals.

But be quick, this offer is only available until 31st March 2015. Hanna Newton is co-ordinating ticket sales and be contacted by e-mail on: [email protected] or on match-days (home & away).

Nearer to the “Vanarama BIG Day Out” you will be able to exchange the voucher at the club for an actual match ticket. There will be no more to pay (unless you want it posted), even though the face-value of the ticket will be considerably higher (up to £36 per adult!). To qualify for this offer, you must buy your vouchers by the end of March.

Ticket numbers are limited so act now to ensure you take advantage of this brilliant offer.

What’s more, all profits from ticket sales go directly to helping Corinthian-Casuals. So, help your club by buying a ticket and spreading the word!

It’s a great value offer and an unmissable opportunity to watch a match, with a cup-final atmosphere at Wembley, at low cost.

Can the run continue ?

It certainly faces another stern test this weekend as we host another promotion chasing side 'Folkestone Invicta'

Our hosts ran out 4-1 winners back in November on a night when skipper Joe Hicks saw red.

Invitca seemingly have a play-off place already sown up but will be looking to finish as high as possible to claim home advantage and keep up the momentum.

The match kicks off at 3pm and admission is £8 adults and £4 concessions

It was an even bigger smile for Casuals manager Matt Howard this week as he scooped the Ryman League Division One South Manager of the Month award for February and also saw his side voted 'Ryman Team of the week' for Saturday's outstanding last gasp win at Whyteleafe.

It's Matt's first time winning the award and its more than deserved in a month which saw Casuals defeat title chasing Faversham at King Georges area before a magnificent wins at Whyteleafe and Hastings United.

Speaking of the award Matt commented " I'm very honoured to receive this award. However its not just me, It's Luke Garrard, Wayne Finnie and Joe Davis. All the players and everyone involved at the club. Our reserve team, the board and our fans".

"I see this as a club award which every one play their part in".

Matt went onto add " We're always up against it being a completely amateur team playing  at this level, so its very encouraging to be recognised. Thank you very much to the Ryman League and Nicholas Rowe Tailoring".

As part of the sponsorship deal Matt receives a suit from Nicholas Rowe Tailoring.

There was further good news for Casuals as the team were voted just above Bognors 4-0 at against Dulwich Hamlet to claim the Ryman Team of the week award.
