Corinthian-Casuals Boss Tony Reid has appointed his Management team ahead of the 2022-23 Isthmian League Premier Division campaign.

The club are delighted to welcome Louis Carder-Walcott (pic: left) as Assistant Manager and Peter Barkley (pic: right) as First Team Head Coach.

Louis has previously managed Hanworth Villa and Bedfont & Feltham as well as working with Reid as his right-hand man at promotion-winning Westfield where the duo not only took the club to their highest level, but made the playoffs the following season.

Former midfielder Peter also comes on board following his appointment at Kingstonian last season, as part of Hayden Bird's setup. Barkley has played for Walton & Hersham and Horsham YMCA amongst others before turning to coaching.

‘Barks’ took to Twitter to state “I am delighted to become part of this great club with it's rich history. I am very much looking forward to working with the players and staff to attack the season ahead together.”

Join us for an evening of Casual Comedy as we host our first Whole Lotta Comedy Night, featuring the headline act of Britain's Got Talent semi-finalist Darren Altman!

Join us on Friday 15th July with tickets now on sale at just £10 per person (or £8 for CCFC Members).

We will be opening from 7pm for food (catered by Rockey Street) and drink, with performances starting at 8pm and 20 minute watering hole intervals between each of 4 acts.

The lineup is as follows:

Darren Altman - In 2016, Darren was thrust into the public spotlight after he appeared on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ where he reached the semi-finals, performing live in front of 11 million viewers.

Lucy Frederick - “A genuinely gifted performer” ★★★★ Kate Copstick – The Scotsman;
“A strong and diverse show” ★★★★ Three Weeks
“Like catching up with a best friend” ★★★★ Tv Bomb;
“Great comic timing” The Stage;
“Understated comedy BLISS!” QX Magazine

Jake Young - has quickly established himself as a very promising new act. He can win over any crowd with his engaging charm, and keeps them laughing with his well crafted self-depreciation. Audiences always enjoy his quick one-liners, observations, and particularly, the wealth of stories from his ‘larger than life’ family and tales of what it’s like to have an identical twin. In 2019, he reached the finals of the Essex Comedian of the Year competition and in 2020, he came runner up in the Portsmouth Guide Awards.

Brandon Palmer - Born in Baltimore, Maryland and starting comedy in London Brandon has a very diverse comedy background. Performing at some of the Top comedy clubs around the UK

Tickets are now on sale online from: www.ticketsource.co.uk/wholelottacomedy

No sooner than we’re into June ad just days after announcing Tony Reid as our new Manager, that we’re able to announce the first of our pre-season friendlies.

The first of those confirmed is an away trip to Tooting & Mitcham United on Tuesday 5th July. It's off to the Powerday as we meet newly promoted Hanwell Town who will embark on their first campaign at Step 3.

We then make another visit over to Chertsey Town on the 16th July before embarking on the two day Egri Erbstein Tournament at the United Business Group Stadium. We’re set to host American side Fall River Marksmen, Budapest-based BAK and Sheffield FC, the oldest football club in the world.

There’s no rest for the Casuals as two nights later, we’ll host newly promoted Farnborough, who look to get their National League South campaign off to a good start. We then head over to Corinthian in Kent for our last July fixture.

Prices for home fixtures will be £8 adults, £4 concessions and kids for a quid. Details of away match prices will follow.

We will have more fixtures to follow and announcements will be made in due course. We look forward to seeing you in just over a month’s time.
