Update to Fixtures
There have been a couple of changes to our final schedule of 2016 We will face Merstham at home in the quarter finals of the League Cup on Tuesday 13th December (7.45pm) As a result our game at Cray Valley the following evening will now take place in the New Year. AFC Wimbledon at home in the London Senior Cup will take place on Tuesday 20th December (7.45pm) Molesey at home which was abandoned due to floodlight failure earlier this month has been pencilled in for Tuesday 10th January (7.45pm) Casuals were defeated 3-0 away to Egham last night in the Surrey County Cup.
James Bracken used the match to make a number of changes and whilst the score line shows a comfortable evening for the hosts Casuals dominated for long periods during the second half but to coin an old phrase “We wouldn’t have scored even if we stayed out there all evening” would best sum up the match for us. All the best to our hosts Egham whose captain Brendan Matthews hit a hat-trick to seal a place in the 3rd round draw. Stuart Trees photographic take on the evening can be seen here |
