Free Entry to Armed Forces & Emergency Services This Saturday

Corinthians and Casuals football clubs are believed to have lost the most number of players during the Great War of any sporting organisation in the country. The clubhouse at King George’s hosts a memorial plaque to all those who died serving their country.

Therefore, it’s only apt that we remember those brave souls, and all others on Armistice Day as we host Wingate and Finchley FC in the Buildbase FA Trophy 2nd Qualifying Round.

We’re inviting members of the Armed Forces and Emergency Services Personnel to the match with FREE ENTRY. Please come along with your ID and enjoy an afternoon of wonderful football on us.

The match takes place this Saturday, 11th November at King George’s Arena, Tolworth, Surrey KT6 7NA. Kickoff is 3pm.

The commemorative matchday programme includes an extensive look back at Casuals visit to the Somme last year, where captain Danny Bracken and chairman Brian Vandervilt (pictured) laid wreaths at the graves of former great Corinthians.

A bugler will be in attendance to play ‘The Last Post’ and we’ll be collecting for the Poppy Appeal throughout the afternoon.
