Casuals opened their campaign with a 3-0 defeat at home to Sittingbourne as they paid the price for lapses of concentration at the back. A tight first half which saw positive signs for the home side appeared to be ending all square but George Crimmen headed home shortly before the interval. It got worse moments into the second half as David Abe broke free to double the lead and despite plenty of Casuals pressure the same player looped home a head 6 minutes from time to wrap up an emphatic win for the Kent side.
