Just after half time having made a block tackle the 17-year old Centre Back suffered the horrific injury.
The game after being held up for nearly 90 minutes whilst the Paramedics arrived and treated Dan on the pitch resumed with visitors Worthing eventually running out 3-0 winners.
Dan was taken to St Georges hospital Tooting where it was confirmed he suffered a broken Tibia and dislocated ankle.
The club are pleased to announce that Dan is comfortable and not in any pain. The hospital is pleased with his progress and he has been released from hospital.
His parents Steve and Jacqui are very touched by the hundreds of messages that have appeared both on Facebook and have been tweeted.
We will continue to update on Dans progress and recovery.
