Folkestone Invicta 4-1 Casuals

A battling Casuals eventually went down to high flying Folkestone on a wet Tuesday evening.


It seemed another routine home win was on the cards when Jordan Wright fired the Seasiders into an 8th minute lead, 

The second half saw Casuals deservedly draw level through Jamie Byatt (pictured) in the 67th minute but almost immediately the hosts swept upfield and restored their lead through veteran Paul Booth.

The game was wrapped up with 7 minutes left when skipper Joe Hicks was dismissed and Booth slammed home the penalty. Substitute Ronnie Dolan added a 4th with hist first touch 60 seconds later which saw the home side close the gap on leaders Faversham Town to 3 points.
