Corinthian-Casuals have partnered up with The Soccer Store ahead of this weekend’s vital Emirates FA Cup tie at King’s Langley.

The Soccer Store have donated training equipment to Casuals in preparation for the club’s biggest cup game in 36 years. Amongst the equipment are Mitre Delta Max footballs, the official match ball of the FA Cup.

The new match ball has a modern look with a pattern of red and grey ribbons to represent the colours featured on the 148 year old trophy.

Corinthian-Casuals are looking to make it to the 4th Round Qualifying for the first time since reaching the 1st Round Proper in 1983, when the likes of Alan Pardew and Andy Gray were part of the Casuals side that took Bristol City to a replay.

Casuals Manager James Bracken said of the partnership “At Corinthian-Casuals, we provide our players with the best possible set-up in non-league. With Soccer Store’s contribution of training equipment, including match balls, we can continue to excel in our professionalism, despite our famous amateur status.”

Corinthian-Casuals turn to Surrey Strength and Performance to Boost Promotion Hopes

Corinthian-Casuals Manager James Bracken has turned to Surrey Strength and Performance to ensure his players are given the best opportunity to face a promotion push in peak physical condition.

SSP - a specialist training facility, based in Caterham, Surrey will host Casuals’ players engaging them in programs designed to maximise strength, mobility and prevent injury.

Casuals season has been blighted by injuries to several key members of Bracken’s squad as the Tolworth-based side look to go one step further from the playoff final last year and gain promotion to the highest level achieved by the historic club.

Manager James Bracken stated, “I’m delighted to have agreed a partnership with SSP, one of the leading strength and performance centres in the South East.”

“Our injury list this season has been extensive to say the least and SSP will be working with players around our current training regime to ensure injury prevention as well as rehabilitation. Using science and the most up to date conditioning methods they’ll look to ensure players are in peak physical condition and available to us for the vital last quarter of the campaign.

“My thanks goes to them in advance and I look forward to what I’m sure will be a fantastic working relationship moving forward.”

Casuals spokesperson Stuart Tree added “James works to an incredibly-professional standard, the likes that haven’t been seen at our club before. Every extra percent that he can extract is vital as we push for an unprecedented promotion.

“Therefore, it’s no surprise that he’s enlisted the help of Surrey Strength and Performance who, like James are incredibly dedicated, passionate and excel at what they do. I know for one, James wouldn’t settle for second best.”
