James Bracken, along with Leiston’s Glenn Driver, and Steve O’Boyle at Phoenix Sports are the Ryman League’s top bosses for the opening month of the season.
The trio were unveiled on Saturday as the winners of the inaugural Macron and Nicholas Rowe Tailoring Manager of the Month accolades of the 2016-17 season.
Bracken, pictured second left at the Ryman League Awards Night, has now won the award two months in a row following the April win at the end of last season. With 11 wins and 1 draw in those two periods, Bracken was the obvious choice once again.
As well as receiving inscribed glass trophies at upcoming fixtures from joint sponsors and the league’s official kit suppliers Macron, for the third season running all three are also looking forward to being measured up for new suits thanks to the Ryman’s unique sponsorship deal with the Surrey-based bespoke tailors.
Like past winners, the trio will be able to choose from three colours at the long established company’s 7000 sq ft Suit-City in Redhill and there is no restriction on the number of suits managers can win over the next nine months. Joint managers will have to win more than one award though with the monthly prizes restricted to one suit per winning club.
