The shirt, predominantly brown, but accented with pink and blue pays homage to the London-based Isthmian League club who inspired the formation of the 2-time FIFA World Champions.
The shirt – modelled by recent club legend Jamie Byatt amongst others also contains Corinthian-Casuals’ motto E Duobus Unum, which roughly translated means ‘out of two, one’ – in reference to the amalgamation of the Corinthians and the Casuals in 1939. A retro crest is displayed on the breast which was used by Timão from 1919 until 1939, the year Corinthian-Casuals were founded.
The photoshoot took place at our home ground – King George’s Arena along with shots at the nearby Cambridge Road estate.
The shirts are available to purchase in Brazil and we will also be stocking these for UK based supporters shortly. You can see them in all their glory here.
It’s a wonderful gesture from Corinthians to herald their history in this manner. We thank them greatly for continuing to remember us and the part we played in creating the greatest football club in South America.
Vai Corinthians!
