Chris O'Flaherty had given the home side the lead in controversial circumstances after 25 minutes when the linesman adjudged his effort had crept over the line.
Casuals themselves benefited from a decision when they were awarded a penalty 11 minutes later which Jamie Byatt converted.(pictured below)
The second half saw the visitors take the lead when skipper Joe Hicks volleyed home. However with 17 minutes remaining match referee Ashley Slaughter collapsed with an allergic reaction after being stung. The match was held up for around half an hour as paramedics arrived on the scene. Thankfully Mr Slaughter appeared to have recovered by the time he was taken away.
This sparked debate between the two sets of management about if the game should continue with the home side wanting the match abandoned. However the league rules state the match must end even if its with two officials. As it was a member of Redhill was a qualified official and ran the line for the last 17 minutes.
In that period Carl Wilson-Dennis (pictured celebrating above) tapped home to open his Casuals account to seal the 3 points, there was still time for Gavin Gordon to neatly finish with the last kick of the match.
The result see's Casuals move up to second in the table.
Finally and most importantly, everyone at the club would like to send their wishes to Ashley Slaughter and hope all is well.
